Life was different before the Revolution because you could travel to the three largest city's that are close together. Mail was sent by stagecoach 3 times a week in spring and summer. In the south they grew tobacco. Some farmers grew rice and indigo plants to make dye.

Although most of his inventions such as the Pennsylvania Fireplace (Franklin stove), the lighting rod,and the odometer (which measures distance traveled) were created before the war! they were still used at this time. Also Franklin designed reading glasses with 2 lenses in 1783.

Lots of people wanted to stay in England so they stayed loyal to the king so that is why they where called loyalist

How were the loyalist? The loyalist were the people that were loyal to King George the fourth. They were people with a wig and they a sliver bucket.

The loyalist had soldiers to. They were people in the redcoats and the had the Natives Americans and they had free slaves and hessian.
